From the first call to the walk round at the end, here's what happens and when, so nothing comes as a surprise.

We visit, measure and quote in writing
The site visit is free. We look at the ground, the levels and where the water goes now, measure up, and talk through the surfaces that would suit the house and the way you use the space.
If the base needs more work than it looks, or the drive needs a dropped kerb, you'll hear it at the visit, not halfway through the job. Then we send you a written quote that sets out the work from dig-out to finish.
Price fixed, start date agreed
The price in the quote is the price you pay: it's fixed before we start. 33% deposit, balance on completion.
We agree a start date with you. If you need a new or wider dropped kerb, we make the application to the council for you, and we build the crossing ourselves unless the council has its own approved contractor. The council inspects the work, so its timetable can affect when you can first drive in from the road.
Our own team on site
Every job is done by our own employed team. The groundwork comes first: digging out, sorting the drainage and building the base, because that's what decides how long the surface lasts. Every drive is dug out to at least 200mm.
The waste usually leaves by grab wagon, or in a skip if you'd prefer, and anything that can be recycled is recycled. Resin and tarmac need dry weather to go down, so a wet forecast can move the day they're laid.

The size of the job, the ground and the access all play a part. Your written quote gives the start date we agree.
Job finished and walked round with you
When the work is done, we walk round it with you before we call it finished, and the balance is due on completion. If you've had a resin bound drive, keep off it for 24 hours and don't drive on it for 48.
15 year structural guarantee on driveways. 10 year structural guarantee on patios. 5 year structural guarantee on fencing. Guarantees on landscaping are subject to the type of installation.
