The price in the quote is the price you pay. We agree a start date with you. 33% deposit, balance on completion.

All the areas we coverHow much will it cost?
The price comes down to the area, how deep we have to dig, what the ground and drainage need, access for the machines, and the surface you pick. Two drives the same size can come out quite differently once you see what's underneath.
So we price after a free site visit, in writing. Free site visit and a written quote. The price is fixed before we start.
How long will the job take?
Most driveways take 3 to 5 days, most patios 2 to 4, and a new artificial lawn 1 to 3. The groundwork usually takes the longest, and resin and tarmac both need dry weather to go down. Your written quote gives the start date we agree with you.
Do I need planning permission, and what about drainage?
For a front garden in England, planning permission is needed to pave more than five square metres with a surface water can't drain through, unless the rain runs off onto a lawn or border. Permeable surfaces, like resin bound on a porous base, need none. The Planning Portal explains the rule.
Either way, the water has to go somewhere. We look at where it goes now at the site visit, and build the drainage into the quote.
What guarantee do you give?
15 year structural guarantee on driveways. 10 year structural guarantee on patios. 5 year structural guarantee on fencing. Guarantees on landscaping are subject to the type of installation.
What happens to the old surface and the waste?
Digging out the old surface is part of the job, along with the ground beneath it down to the depth the new base needs: at least 200mm for a drive.
The waste usually leaves by grab wagon, or in a skip if you'd prefer. Anything that can be recycled is recycled.
How does payment work?
33% deposit, balance on completion. The price is fixed in your written quote before we start, so the balance is the figure you agreed.
